Oh shit

Hey

I think finals week is gonna suck. I'm dreading the Earth Science final the most. That's gonna be deathly. I really wish Mrs Saylor had decided to make her final a DBQ, because that would have meant no studying and no memorizing 150 random facts about godknowswhat.

Thankstaking.

Oi.

Wow, I haven't written in here in a long time.

No one uses this xanga thing anymore...but I thought I might as well keep it updated...

I'm mainly on facebook now though. It's addicting, I tell you.

We don't celebrate thanksgiving. But my mom made good Indian food today. Some serious Shahi Paneer with good-sized paneer cubes. And she's also making tandoori roti, even though we don't have a tandoori oven. She's using the broiler.

Well, on Sunday, I went to go see 'And Then There Were None' w. Colby and Yosef. Extremely good play. The first act is boring and you have no idea what they're saying. Miss Evans was sitting behind me so during the first intermission I asked her what the hell was going on and she filled me in. It made sense then. The gunshots were shocking even though you knew the one was coming. The last one was expecially shocking. I literally jumped both times. It was a worth it play.

I was sick this week. Not cool.

I still am sick. Not cooler.

Last night I saw Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. Very good movie. I don't know why the hell everyone is like, "That's the worst Karan Johar movie ever. It's such a bad movie. It was totally a waste of (howeversomany dollars or rupees (in India) it cost to go see it)." That's bullshit. (1. It was a good movie and 2. I think that Kal Ho Naa Ho is the best Karan Johar movie.) It was a good movie. Sure, it dragged, and it could have been ended sooner. And Preity Zinta could have had a bigger role cuz, well, one of the main reasons I watched the movie was because of her. lol. But I'm sure she'll still be credited as a leading actress rather than a supporting actress when the awards come along. At least I hope so. In my opinion, she did better than Rani Mukherji. I don't know why everyone is obsessed with Rani Mukherji. Yeah, she's a good actress, but she's not that "phenomenal" as everyone says. However, when people talk about Aishwarya Rai, they're right. And then when people talk about like Preity Zinta and Priyanka Chopra, they're like, "Eh, they're average. They're good actresses, but not that great. Dekhne mein achchi hain, lekin Aishwarya Rai aur Rani Mukherji ki tarhe nahin hain." I, personally, think that people who say that are stupid. But anyway, back to the movie... Sure, it could have had a little less drama, but it was still a good movie. It had good picturization. When I watch a movie, I judge mainly on picturization rather than content. I enjoyed watching it. However, with the ratings and reviews it's getting from rediff and the general public, I don't think it will be nominated for best picture, but we'll see. Some critics say that Abhishek Bachchan and Preity Zinta kept the movie alive, and I agree with them to some extent. Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukherji were the main focuses and every other scene featured them, but when you got to a scene with Preity or Abhishek, you were like, "Fhew," because Shah Rukh and Rani were just cried too much and were too dramatic after the intermission. Preity and Abhishek added a somewhat comic/real-life relief to the film. But it was still an overall good movie.

...Wow, talk about a run-on, jumping-around paragraph.

lol
